The time has finally come to open up our Little Red Bar[n] for our Summer & Fall season! Feel good at Bishop’s and unwind as you kick-back and relax. We love seeing family and friends gather on the farm patio for afternoons and evenings filled with good food & drinks, good music and straight up good vibes! The property will OPEN for the season on Friday, 5/26, at 4:30pm. Thursdays – Sundays, through the end of October. The field adjacent to Bishop’s Farm Market will be in full swing with wine, beer, froses, BBQ and more! Adirondack chairs, wooden picnic tables, and patio furniture line the property, with our sailcloth tent dazzling in twinkly lights.
Our BBQ Barn serves up a variety of slow-smoked meats, sandwiches, salads, sides and more, with scrumptious snacks and even desserts to end your meal with. There’s something for everyone, from hot dogs and kids meals, to starters and beverages! But that’s not all! Our Wine Barn has the perfect selection of Bishop’s own wines, hard ciders and famous FROSES, as well as featuring other CT wines and craft beer. Wine tastings on the weekend will now take place inside the Little Red Barn from 11am-5pm. Sample a variety of our award winning wines and then enjoy a glass or two of your new favorites from the Wine Barn.
If you need that mid-week pick me up, try our Thursday Trivia Nights, hosted by local favorite and musician Dave Lefkin. Test your knowledge with an outdoor game night that will have you returning week after week. Live music will fill the air Friday and Saturday evenings from 7-10pm. Bands for our opening weekend will be Red Planet on Friday and Senior Discount on Saturday from 7-10pm. Both have been regulars in our past seasons and are excited to be back on the farm. Other bands you can expect to see this season are FB Lily, Foxtrotter, Almost the Whole Damn Family, Sunset Drive, Take Two, Katie Perkins and more!
