A New Direction With Change

Feel good about change!

As our family continues to grow, so does our business and the desire to provide every customer with a fun and enjoyable experience that creates memories to last a lifetime. With change being something we all can dread, we are excited about our new and improved layout for the fall, and hope you will Feel Good about it too! Let’s start with the biggest and most noticeable change to come…

Come September you will no longer see those lines of bright orange pumpkins filling our field off of Route 1. Have no fear, pumpkins will still be at Bishop’s, they will just be moved to a more convenient location just down the road. As we did last fall with moving all our Kids Activities up to our Main Orchard at 526 New England Road, our Pumpkin Patch (and collection of gourds, sugar pumpkins, fancy pumpkins, corn stalks, mums and more) and all family friendly activities in our fall line-up will all be located together in our orchard, with Pick Your Own Apples and our Corn Maze. This change will be convenient in so many ways for both our seasonal customers and everyday shoppers. By moving our PYO Pumpkin Patch to where all the action is, we are able to provide more parking spaces at our Farm Market, creating a better flow of traffic off of Route 1 and parking available for those who just come and shop at the farm market conveniently.

Jumping from one venue to another will now be so much easier, with the kids getting their fix at one location, and adults able to then take a trip down the road to shop at our Farm Market and Wine and Dine at the Little Red Bar[n].

The Little Red Bar[n] (LRB) property at 1355 Boston Post Road, next to the Farm Market in Guilford, will be used primarily for an entertainment and event venue for guests.  Starting on Saturday May 27th, every Saturday and Sunday through October, we will have our Wine Tastings at the LRB from 11am to 5pm. (Weekday Wine Tastings will take place in the Farm Market).  Live music kicks off for the season beginning on Friday, May 26th, continuing through the end of October on Friday & Saturday nights from 7-10pm. Thursday Trivia Nights at the Little Red Bar[n] will begin June 1st, hosted by local favorite Dave Lefkin. We will also be hosting our Outdoor Family Movie Nights this summer on Wednesdays starting July 5th.  It is sure to be a fun filled season at Bishop’s LRB! For more information on all LRB happenings, you can visit our website!

We hope this glimpse into changes coming this fall provides you with flexibility and feasibility to do it all on the farm! With all the different needs to meet for all of our guests, we are hopeful that this new layout will better serve the community and our customers, during our busiest seasons.

Stay tuned for more fall updates as the field progresses and changes continue through the summer. Follow us on Facebook for more up-to-date posts and stories, as we get ready for the most wonderful time of the year!
