This recipe for pumpkin jam is perfect for fall! Using fresh pumpkin, you can easily make a jam that is great for desserts and breakfast dishes.

  • 5 pound(s) Pumpkins
  • 1 pound(s) Raisins
  • 2.5 pound(s) Sugar
  • 1 pound(s) Dried Apricots


Pare pumpkin. Remove seeds and cut pulp into cubes. Add sugar. Stir well, and allow to stand over night. In the morning add apricots which have been washed and cut into strips. Add raisins. Cook slowly, stirring frequently, until the pumpkin is tender and clear. ½ lemon, sliced thinly, may be added. Canned pumpkin may be substituted for fresh pumpkin.
