Peach Sorbet

A wonderful use for ripe summer peaches, this sorbet is light and refreshing with the addition of simple syrup and lemon juice.


Makes 1 Batch(es)

  • 2 pound(s) Peaches
  • 1.5 cup(s) Syrup
  • 1 Lemon(s)


Score bottom of peaches with an “X” and boil about 10 seconds in boiling water and peal off skin.  Remove peach pits,  Puree peaches in a food processor or blender.  Pour Puree into a bowl and stir in simple syrup and lemon juice.  Taste and adjust syrup or lemon juice to taste.  Freeze in an ice cream maker using manufacturer’s instructions.
