This tasty bacon wrapped asparagus appetizer is a perfect thing to make with the kids. They’ll not only enjoy making it, but they’ll enjoy eating it too!

- 2 lb Asparagus, ends trimmed
- 12 slices Turkey Bacon, uncooked
- .5 cups Brown Sugar
- .5 cups Butter
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- .5 tsp Garlic Salt
- .25 tsp Ground Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Divide the asparagus spears into 12 bundles (304 pieces each). Wrap 1 piece of turkey bacon around each bundle, starting 1/2 inch from the bottom of the tips. Secure the bacon-wrapped asparagus with a toothpick. Arrange bundle in a shallow baking pan.
Combine brown sugar and remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan. Heat the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Pour mixture over the asparagus bundles.
Bake them for 25-30 minutes or until the spears have begun to wilt and bacon looks fully cooked.
