Applesauce Meatloaf

The addition of applesauce adds an extra layer of moisture for your meatloaf that is slightly sweetened as well.

  • 0.75 cup(s) Applesauce
  • 1 cup(s) Breadcrumbs
  • 1.5 pound(s) Ground Beef
  • 0.25 pound(s) Pork Sausage
  • 1 Egg(s)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) Onion(s)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Celery
  • 0.75 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon(s) Pepper
  • 0.5 cup(s) Applesauce
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Mustard

Directions


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix bread crumbs, ¾ cup applesauce, ground meats, egg, onion, celery, salt, and pepper thoroughly. Pack into 9” x 5” x 3” loaf pan. Mix remaining ingredients. Spread over meat mixture. Bake about 1 ½ hours.
